Clone troopers made up the bulk of the Grand Army of the Republic. They were clones of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, and were highly superior to battle droids.They fought against the Separatists during the Clone Wars. They wore a range of armor, from Plastoid armor which most clone troopers wore to Katarn-class clone commando armor. They used a line of thermal detonators, DC-15A blaster rifles, DC-15S blasters, and DC-17 pistols. They were very effective on many fronts and were later transformed into the Stormtrooper Corps.
